The SoCalCross Prestige Series is delighted to announce that Cardo Systems will now be a vital part of Elite Women’s cyclocross racing during the upcoming CXLA Weekend.
This event takes place December 1-2, 2012, at Los Angeles State Historic Park and features two days of professional cyclocross competition sanctioned by UCI, the world governing body for the sport of bicycle racing.
Cardo Systems has provided CXLA Weekend the backing it needs to ensure the Elite Women’s cash prize payout to the top five finishers is equal to that of the Elite Men’s purse.
Dorothy Wong, the SoCalCross Series promoter, is elated to have Cardo Systems become involved as a believer and supporter. “In speaking with Brenda Lyons from Cardo Systems, it quickly became apparent that this would be a great partnership,” Wong stated. “The SoCalCross mission is to increase participation of women and juniors in the sport of cyclocross and in cycling for recreation and transportation in general.
