Redlands Bicycle Classic Team Rosters Announced, Time Trial Start Times Posted

The Redlands Bicycle Classic, which runs from April 4 – 7, is the first race of the 2013 USA Cycling National Racing Calendar and kicks off tomorrow with a 7.8 mile Time Trial in Big Bear. The racing continues on Friday in Beaumont with the City of Beaumont Circuit Race, with the race moving  to Redlands for the City of Redlands Criterium in Downtown Redlands on Saturday and wraps up on Sunday with the challenging Beaver Medical Group Sunset Road Race.

The women’s field each year at the Redlands Classic reads like the who’s who in women’s cycling. This year looks to be no different with power house lineup that includes Specialized-Lululemon, Optum p/bKelly Benefit Strategies, Team TIBCO/to the top and Team EXERGY 2016.

The Big Bear TT will present an opportunity for many riders like NOW and Novartis for MS Alison Powers who reside at 8,000 feet. Mara Abbott coming off a win at San Dimas will be in the field. Amber Neben will be riding for The Dare to be project and an always talented Specialized LULULEMON squad looks to be in the mix.
