Photo Gallery & Results: Ladera Ranch Grand Prix

The 8th Annual Ladera Ranch Grand Prix of Cycling presented by SmartStop, took place on Sunday in the Orange County community of Ladera Ranch.

In the women’s race, Priscilla Calderon (Monster Media) outsprinted her breakaway partners for the win with Pam Schuster (Incycle pb Full Circle) in 2nd and Alicia Silvera (Michelob Ultra – La Grange +21) in 3rd.

In the Pro 1/2 race, the SoCalCycling.com Team were the main animators that included being in several breaks throughout the day. With six laps to go a three man break including Kayle Leogrande (Surf City Cyclery/ Sterling BMW), Shawn Daurelio (Bike Religion) and Lucas Binder (SoCalCycling.com) got a 15 second gap on the field that looked like it might stick. Team SmartStop p/b Mountain Khakis had other ideas and brought the break back in the last corner on the final lap making for an exciting finish. Shane Kline (Team SmartStop p/b Mountain Khakis) came to the line first, followed by Shawn Wayland (Serious Cycling) in 2nd and Philip Tinstman (Monster Media) in 3rd.
