San Dimas Stage Race – Time Trial Start Times Announced

The San Dimas Stage Race kicks off on Friday with the Chaffey Auto Body Time Trial up Glendora Mountain Road.  GMR averages a gradient of 4.5 – 6.5 percent and is 4.25 miles long and has a total elevation gain of 1,257 feet.  The first rider goes off at 8:00 AM, with the Pro 1-3 Women starting at 11:15 AM and the Pro 1 Men at 2:35 PM.

The race consists of three exciting stages in three great venues:

• A challenging Time Trial up Glendora Mountain Road (GMR) on Friday, March 28th, sponsored by Chaffey Auto Body.
• A grueling classic Road Race around Bonelli Park on Saturday, March 29th, sponsored by San Dimas Community Hospital.
• A fast and furious Criterium around downtown San Dimas on Sunday, March 30th, sponsored by Incycle bike stores and Cannondale bikes.

All three stages offer great opportunities for riders to excel and for cycling fans to see exciting pro and amateur racing up close. If you can only attend one day, come on Sunday and enjoy the Expo along with the race. There are no admission fees for watching the races.
