Results & Photo Gallery: Redlands Bicycle Classic’s Yucaipa Road Race Delivers Mountain Top Finish

The Redlands Bicycle Classic featured a new stage on Friday, the Yucaipa Road Race, that finished with a mountain top finish up the Yucaipa side of Oak Glen. Phil Gaimon (Optum p/b Kelly Benefits Strategies) lit it up over the climb to win solo by 12 seconds ahead of his teammate Michael Woods. Gaimon is now the GC leader after this stellar ride.

In the Women’s race, Mara Abbott (LA Sweat) showed her dominance with a solo win finishing 1:02 ahead of Amber Neben (Visit Dallas Cycling p/b Noise4Good).  Abbott now holds the GC lead by :22 seconds ahead of Neben.
