Photo Gallery & Results: Tour de Murrieta Circuit Race

The Tour de Murrieta Cardenas Circuit Race was held on a scenic course on the edge of Old Town in Murrieta. Each lap is held over 3.5 miles of flat to rolling terrain that made for a fast day of racing.

In the Pro 1/2 race, Ben Wolfe (Jelly Belly pb Maxxis) won the final stage followed by his teammate Lachlan Morton In 2nd. The two were in a long breakaway for over half the race. Race Leader Ulises Castillo (KHS-Maxxis-JL Velo) won the field sprint for 3rd on the stage and held on to the lead for the overall win.

In the Women’s race the Twenty16 RideBiker Team swept the podium with Jennifer Tetrick taking the win followed by Alison Jackson in 2nd and Holly Breck in 3rd. Gretchen Stumhofer (Colavita / Bianchi pb Vittoria) won the Omnium after three days of racing.
