Video & Results: Tour de Murrieta Criterium

The Tour de Murrieta is taking place this weekend from March 10-12 in Murrieta and includes a time trial, criterium and circuit race in an omnium format. The omnium formats allows riders to compete in all three events or each event individually.

Todays’s criterium saw Cory Williams (Elevate-KHS Pro Cycling) take the win in a close field sprint with a three up bike throw. Scott Lay (Cylance Pro Cycling) finished in 2nd with Jose Alfredo Rodriguez  (Elevate-KHS Pro Cycling) in 3rd.

The Women’s 1-3 race was won by Kendall Ryan (Tibco / Silicon Valley Bank), followed by Angelica Frayre (SDBC / Emerald Textiles pb UC Cyclery) in 2nd and Holly Breck (Shoair Twenty20) in 3rd to round out the podium.
