There is going to be another Mountain Bike Race at Vail Lake on June 24. At the last race there was a bounty hill that awarded $200 to the rider(s) who could clean the hill without dabbing the most amount of times. At this next race the prize goes up to $1000 !! So practive you climbing skills....it could make you $1000 richer.

WHAT??? cash at a mtn race? WOW now thats something that should catch on. So when you say no dabbing does that mean that I can track stand or do I have to keep moving. Thanks I am really going to try to get it. Should be fun. Oh yeah, what else is at the race?

Kind of a novel idea, winning money. The hill climb is a no dab (you put your foot down on the climb and it will not count ) climb. You can track stand if you like, but dont put your foot down. We will have spotters on the climb to make sure the racers that clean the climb are legit.

We also have a climb for the Sport and Beg. classes. On the first lap we will have a parade lap of sorts that we will have a short climb in it. First one to the top of this climb will earn a cool award.

Hope to see you out there!

Wait...So you mean that the cash hill climb is not for everyone. I usually race in the sport class. Is this race NORBA sanctioned? Would I be able to race expert to get my chance for the $$$$. Do you know what the prizes are for the beg. sports? Thanks just trying to figure it out. I am bringing some friends to race so it should be fun.

The $$$ is up for Expert-Pro class but since this is not a NORBA race you could enter as an expert to try for the cash. The only racers who need to show their NORBA card are the Pros since we are doing a 100% Pro payback.

The swag up for the Beg/sport class are custome pictures done up by one of our sponsors. They will be pics taken from the Vail Lake race. To see some of their pics go to http://www.eisphotos.com/.

We are also having a Super D race on that same day.
