The Barry Wolfe Grand Prix was the second race of the Memorial Weekend Omnium and raced in the nice community of Thousand Oaks and hosted by Serious Cycling.
In a sprint down to the line, Sean McElroy (Legion) pipped his Legion of Los Angeles teammate Justin Williams at the line for the win. McElroy who also won the Lake Hughes Circuit Race and was leading the Memorial Weekend Omnium did not provide any gifts to Williams, who was celebrating his birthday that day! Christian Gorm Albrechtsen (SoCalCycling.com Team) rounded out the podium for third.
Shelby Reynolds won the women’s race ahead of Katie Mardayat (Serious Cycling) in 2nd and Christina Birch in 3rd.
