This weekend plays host to several cycling events that offer great racing and spectating.
This Sunday on January 17, the Majestic Cycling Crit takes place in San Bernardino and will mark the start of the Southern California road season since the “Ice Breaker” In Jurupa Valley Grand Prix was unexpectedly canceled. The course, which is held at the San Bernardino International Airport, features 6 corners, 2 hairpin turns over a very technical .95 mile course.
For those still not ready to hit the road circuit yet, cyclocross racing continues this Sunday, as well with SoCal Cross Fever’s Monument Cross at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in El Monte. For some ‘cross inspiration watch the replay video coverage from the Cyclocross National Championships in Asheville, NC.
In addition, Coates Cyclery and Liv will have a FREE Women’s Only Mountain Bike Skills Clinic and Demo Ride at Bonelli Park in San Dimas, California on Sunday. Liv and Coates Cyclery will be set up at Brackett Airport in La Verne.
We hope you have a great weekend of riding and be sure to check out these great cycling events if you can.
