Results: 2025 Barrio Logan Grand Prix Brings High-Speed Racing and Community Spirit to San Diego

Experience the excitement of the Barrio Logan Grand Prix, featuring thrilling races and community fun in San Diego.

On June 14, 2025, the streets of San Diego’s historic Barrio Logan neighborhood came alive for the 28th edition of the Barrio Logan Grand Prix. This fast-paced, figure-eight criterium featured a challenging 0.8-mile course and drew a full slate of racers, including professional, amateur, and junior athletes. The event also doubled as the Southern California/Nevada Cycling Association (SCNCA) Junior Criterium Championships, spotlighting top youth talent from across the region. Off the bike, the event offered family-friendly fun with a Kids Zone, bike safety activities, local vendors, and a lively post-race celebration hosted nearby.

Pro Women’s Race

The Pro Women’s race was dominated by the Incycle MAMIS team, who executed a near-flawless race from start to finish. Courtney Sullivan led the charge to claim first place, followed closely by Shelby Tinstman in second and Priscilla Savord in third. Their coordinated tactics and strength in the final sprint gave them a commanding sweep of the podium.

Pro Men’s Race

In the Pro Men’s race, the action was just as intense. Chris Hildreth (EMPYR) launched a powerful final move to take the win in a thrilling finish. Juan Aldapa (Project One4Nine Development) battled hard for second place, while Wyatt Funk (SoCalCycling.com Team) earned a strong third after staying active in the lead group throughout the race. The men’s finale showcased tactical depth and elite-level speed from start to finish.

While the pros provided the day’s marquee moments, the energy extended across all categories. Junior racers competed for SCNCA titles with standout performances across multiple age groups, while amateur riders from Cat 5 to Cat 1 added to the action. From elite competition to community engagement, the 2025 Barrio Logan Grand Prix once again delivered a memorable day of racing in one of San Diego’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
