On December 5, 2021, CicLAvia created miles of open streets at CicLAvia–South LA for all to enjoy. CicLAvia-South LA hosted a fun atmosphere to bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, spectate, and experience the neighborhoods of South Central, Exposition Park, Leimert Park, and Crenshaw in a new way.

Participants were able to enjoy public art as well as artistic establishments like the Lula Washington Dance Theater, CAAM, the Science Center, and the still-under-construction (and spaceship-shaped) Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, as well as points of history, from MLK Park to Obama Blvd, and the in-progress arts hub Destination Crenshaw, in addition to delicious local eats.

Enjoy some photos from the day and experience CicLAvia–South LA.
