The 2024 Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix, one of the most prestigious cycling events in Southern California, celebrated its 61st Anniversary marking six decades of thrilling races, community engagement, and a rich history of promoting cycling as a sport for professionals as well as amateurs from across the nation.
The Manhattan Beach Grand Prix was held in the Southern California beachside community of Manhattan Beach. The event featured a generous $20,500 prize purse and also hosted the Elite Criterium State Championships.
The Pro 1/2 Men’s race ended with a field sprint with Lucas Bourgoyne (Austin Outlaws) taking the win ahead of Justin Williams (L39ion of Los Angeles) in 2nd and Juan Aldapa (Project 149 Development Team) in 3rd.
The Women’s 1-3 race saw SoCal’s Kendall Ryan (L39ion of Los Angeles) take the win in a field sprint, with Holly Breck (DNA Pro Cycling) in 2nd and Colleen Gulick (Team Skyline-Cadence) in 3rd.
