2026 CicLAvia – Heart of LA Photo Gallery

CicLAvia – Heart of LA  brought thousands of cyclists, runners, skaters, walkers, and families together for a full day of car-free streets in  Los Angeles. Participants explored an open streets route which included the Echo Park Hub located on Bellevue Ave off of Glendale Blvd by the south side of Echo Park Lake; Chinatown Hub located on N Broadway north of College St; Little Tokyo Hub located on S Central Ave south of 1st St; and Mariachi Plaza Hub located on 1st St east of S Boyle Ave.

LA Streets Transformed for a Day

Participants traveled between community hubs that featured public activities, bike support stations, water refill locations, rest areas, and spaces for families and friends to gather. The relaxed atmosphere and open streets environment made the event accessible for riders and visitors of all experience levels.

Celebrating Southern California’s Open Streets Culture

Since launching in Los Angeles County in 2010, CicLAvia has helped promote community engagement, outdoor activity, and alternative transportation through large-scale open streets events across the region.

The 2026 Heart of LA edition continued that tradition by bringing together local neighborhoods, businesses, and outdoor enthusiasts for a day centered around recreation, movement, and community connection.
