Nike 10//2 MTB101

I've gone on five rides now using the NIKE 10//2 MTB101 road shoe and it is a VERY nice shoe. The construction seems first class. I especially like the lower, shorter knobs on the sole. There is just enough knob for the occasional run or hike a bike in a cross country race, for which I will be using these shoes for. The opening on the sole for the cleat is the perfect size for my Time pedal's allowing them to engage and release perfectly. The uppers are made of a synthetic leather which is very comfortable, even on the first ride. The soles are very stiff and are perfect for racing. They may be a little stiff for long hikes. The ventilation should be excellent in the summer. It is winter now, and I can definitely feel the cold air coming through the mesh front. I have ridden most of the top brands of shoes in my 14 years of mountain biking and I would rate these shoes very highly.
