Product Review: Ekoi 999 Helmet

The new 2012 Ekoi 999 cycling helmet has hit the cycling scene with full force. One of many things I love about this helmet is the light weight technology of 220 grams. I have used many helmets from companies like Giro to Laser and this is the first helmet I have used that after 3 hours of riding my neck does not hurt from the helmet being so heavy.

Another great feature is that the Ekoi 999 offers is its ability to keep you cool. With its sleek 24 vent design this helmet keeps you cool on those long hot days. The look of this helmet is a stunning feature. It seems whereever I go everyone loves the unique design.

An added benefit The Ekoi 999 offers is a bug mesh net for the front air vents. I really love the bug mesh net because it really sucks when a bee or another kind of bug gets in your helmet.

This helmet uses an in mold structure that makes this helmet’s comfort stand out among its competition. Also with the comfort of this helmet you get an adjustable head lock to adjust your comfort level accordingly.

The Ekoi 999 comes in three color schemes to match any cycling kit. While the Ekoi 999 is a must buy at only $98.00, it compares to helmets that cost much more.
