The SUMMER CLASSIC is here with a new course for a Time Trial in San Diego. On Saturday September 20th, Kearny Villa Road will be the venue for the SUMMER CLASSIC Time Trial which includes all categories and SCNCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS for SUPER MASTERS 55+ women and 65+ men. The course is 5 kilometers long with rolling terrain for a total of a 20 kilometer event. The San Diego Cyclo-Vets has from 7 am to 9 am to send all the riders out and back. Join the San Diego Cyclo-Vets for an exciting Time Trial event.
The SUMMER CLASSIC is also hosting a Criterium Race on Sunday September 21st on the traditional .7-mile closed loop on Huennekens and Waples Streets, in Mira Mesa as a hometown club brings a full day of spectacular bicycle racing to San Diego, including Juniors, CAT 3 / 4 / 5, age groups 35+ / 45+ / 55+ / 60+ and the SCNCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS for SUPER MASTERS 55+ women and 65+ men.
Cyclo-Vets’ have a 30+-year history of providing riders of all categories an organized program for becoming a better rider. The club has helped train casual riders into Master’s-level national and world champions.
