While it’s true that nothing comes without hard work, this Labor Day while others are taking a break, it’s time to get to work! Cross is coming, so let’s Ride CX Sunday!
You are invited to meet at Velo Studio in Atwater Village for a multi-surface CX Skills and Endurance Ride that is approximately 3 hours, 30+ miles that includes stops at local parks with all the elements including sand. The ride will go along LA’s favorite Griffith and Elysian Parks tackling broken pavement and dirt sections maybe a bonus or two depending on the pace over to the Arroyo Seco and then to LA’s River Parks for CX skills and Drills!
The ride will finish up with brunch and a presentation on the upcoming 2016-17 Southern California Cyclocross Season kicking off with the SoCalCross Happy Hour Tour events – a month-long season of rides, clinics, practice races and fun leading into the 2016-17 SoCalCross Prestige Series and learn about our Finish the Ride Holiday Challenge and about our partner SAFE (Streets are for Everyone) and at the Morrison Pub in Atwater Village over good food and drinks! Brunch Special Breakfast Burrito Mimosa, Juice or a beer for $12!

*Ride clinic is free and self-supported so bring spare tubes or recommend tubeless as Goat head thorns are in season.

PARKING is free along Los Feliz Blvd on Sundays or park at the public parking at Los Feliz Par 3 Golf Course as it is also public lot for LA River. Â There is ample parking on Riverside Drive/Griffith Park, as well. Â Some nearby residential parking is available. Make sure to read signage.
