The Barry Wolfe Grand Prix provided a nice day of racing in the bike-friendly city of Westlake Village over Memorial Day Weekend. The Start / Finish line was on Hampshire Road and the course was a one mile flat, four corner speedfest.
The Pro 1/2 Men’s race and Women’s 1-3 race, saw Imeh Nsek (M2W Academy Team) solo to the win ahead of Edgar Stepanyan (Velo Pasadena) in 2nd and Leo Bugtai (SoCalCycling.com Team) putting in a great sprint for 3rd.
In the Women’s 1-3 race, Katie Mardayat (Serious Cycling) came away victorious on the day for the home team. Shelby Reynolds (Monster Media Elite Women) was 2nd, with Samantha Bosco finishing in 3rd.
The Barry Wolfe Grand Prix also hosted the Master’s Criterium Championships that included the following winners in each category: 35 + Charon Smith (M2W Academy Team), 40 + Jason Meidhof (Team Beyer Auto), 45 + Tommy Robles (Davis Phinney Foundation Masters Cycling), 50 + Jon Davis (Serious Cycling), 55 + Craig Miller (BBI-SIC Cycling).
