57th Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix Returns July 22nd

Manhattan Beach Grand Prix

The 57th Annual Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix returns this year on July 22nd!  Come out to the course by Live Oak Park in Manhattan Beach to watch bicycle racing at its best.

This Beach Cities tradition this year will be raced in a counter-clockwise direction instead of the usual clockwise direction, making for a super-fast finish.

There’s fun for the whole family as the Chevron Kids’ Zone will be expanded this year. The Kids’ Races, a crowd favorite, will be held before the Women’s Pro 1-3 race at noon.

With $20,500 in total prize money, there will be nine USA Cycling races.  The headline races are the Women’s Pro 1-3 race at 1:00pm and the Men’s Pro 1-2 race at 2:00pm. Both races offer a maximum of $8,000 total in prize money.

Manhattan Mile Running Event

In addition, runners will be able to challenge themselves on the course with a running event called the Manhattan Mile at 12:30.  All participants will receive a T-shirt and there are cash awards for the top 3 male and female finishers.
