The rains in SoCal subsided for a great weekend of racing at the 2019 Tour de Murrieta, which featured a fast downtown criterium and a rolling circuit race on the outskirts of the downtown area.
Sean McElroy (Legion) won the Pro 1 criterium and Jessica Parra had the most speed and took the win in the Women 1-3 criterium.
The circuit race was raced at a furious pace with Sam Boardman (Wildlife Generation P/B Maxxis) sprinting to the Team’s first win out of a breakaway. Fernanda Polaco Silvia (Durango-Specialized IED) was the fastest in the Women’s 1-3 race, clinching the win.
Sean McElroy (Legion) and Holly Breck (Go Fast- Incycle) tallied enough points from the two days of racing to win the omnium.
