Hosted by Majestic Cycling, the Santa Anita Park Crit is a fun, new event series that was added to the Southern California bike racing calendar in 2019.
Under hot temperatures, the Santa Anita Park Crit was held on Sunday in the South parking lot of the iconic thoroughbred horse racing track at Santa Anita Park, where legendary racehorses like Seabiscuit and American Pharoah became legends.
In the Pro 1,2 race, the heat helped whittled down the field with Jason Cianfrocca (SC Velo) taking the win in the Pro 1,2 race, followed by Christian Albrechtsen (SoCalCycling.com Team) in 2nd and Abner Gonzalez (SoCalCycling.com Team) in 3rd.
