In a new microsite experience themed “Reason to Ride,” Rally UHC Cycling today launched a series of short films, articles and other content championing the numerous health and wellness benefits of riding a bike.
“There are so many ways that riding can positively impact your life. Reason to Ride is a celebration of that,” said Rally UHC Cycling Creative Director Sam Wiebe.
Alluding to the team’s higher mission, an anthemic launch film on the microsite proclaims, “We’re not just riding to race. We’re racing to inspire the world to ride.”
Two other short documentary-style features highlight the unique lifestyles of US Women’s Pro Criterium winner Emma White and veteran pro rider Svein Tuft.
“We wanted to showcase the unique personal paths people take toward happier, healthier living,” said Wiebe. “Everyone’s journey is different, and Emma and Svein’s stories embody that.”
In each film, the riders open up about their own reasons to ride and speak to how cycling has benefitted their physical and mental well-being.
“It’s really about creating an invitation to ride,” said Rally UHC Cycling Managing Director Charles Aaron. “By sharing our riders’ unique stories, we hope to inspire more people to get on their bikes. Whether you’re a serious cyclist or someone who’s just enjoying a leisurely ride to the store, anyone can experience the transformative health benefits of riding.”
