Long Beach New Year’s Day Ride: Coastal Adventure
Ride Tradition:
Kickstart the year with the time-tested Long Beach New Year’s Day Ride, a go-to for cyclists seeking a memorable kickoff.
Scenic PCH Cruise:
Start in Long Beach and cruise south on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), gathering riders along the way. The ride’s vibe escalates near Huntington Beach, heading south to Dana Point. Choose between a PCH loop or an inland route back to the start.
No-Nonsense Thrills:
For a flat ride with coastal views and a huge peloton, the Long Beach New Year’s Day Ride delivers a fun and exhilarating ride!

Approximately 90 miles for the entire bike ride
Start Time & Location:
The New Years Day Ride starts in Belmont Shore at Bay Shore Ave & 2nd Street at 7:55 AM. As the ride rolls on, it picks up a group of riders at Long Beach/Alamitos Bay Marina and turns south from 2nd Street onto the PCH at around 8:00 AM.
