The fifth race of the 2025 CBR Criterium Series took place with the CBR #5 Dominguez Hills Criterium.
CBR #5 Dominguez Hills Criterium Pro 1-3 Race: Rex Roberts Wins
In the Pro Men’s field, Rex Roberts (SoCalCycling.com Team) took the victory and described how the race played out:
I got a $50 prime with 40 minutes to go and rolled it into a break with Kody Babler (Above and Beyond Cancer Cycling Team). Three more bridged and the five of us worked smooth until the last lap. Cory Lockwood was 20 seconds off but couldn’t close it. We caught the peloton in the finish so that was pretty awkward as I had to navigate through the field to take the win.
Kody Babler (Above and Beyond Cancer Cycling Team) finished second with Jan-Marc Temmen (Team Ride 4IBD) in the third landing on the podium.
CBR #5 Dominguez Hills Criterium Women’s Race: Colleen Gulick Victorious
The women’s race Colleen Gulick (Team Skyline-Cadence) continued her winning ways with a victory. Morgan James (A Faster Me) finished 2nd with Aine Chen (San Diego Bicycle Club powered by Bonnici Law Group) rounding out the podium in third.
