Race on Route 66 Weekend Kicks Off with

Glendora Twilight Criterium and Upland Park Crit – August 23–24, 2025

Cycling fans and racers are in for an unforgettable weekend as Southern California hosts the inaugural Race on Route 66 Weekend, featuring two action-packed criterium races in Glendora and Upland.

The weekend opens on Saturday, August 23, 2025, with the first-ever Glendora Twilight Criterium, presented by the City of Glendora and promoted by Pat Caro/GoFast. Set against the backdrop of historic Route 66, the downtown course transforms city streets into a high-speed race arena, giving riders a unique opportunity to compete outside the usual business park circuits. Fans can expect thrilling finishes as top cyclists and teams vie for a $1,000 prize list in the Elite Men’s and Women’s races.

The Upland Park Criterium is known for its fun, technical course and spectator-friendly layout.
