This past weekend was stacked with great events for every type of cyclist to challenge themselves.
Road Racing
Held a few months earlier than normal, the Elite Championships were held in conjunction with the Chuck Pontius Memorial Castaic Lake Road Race on a new course that proved challenging with 2,875 feet of climbing over a 27.5 mile lap. Depending on what category you raced and how many laps your race had, the elevation gain could add up nicely!
