Wildlife Generation Pro Cycling to close out the season in Thailand at
The  Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand from December 1-6.
Plus 3 new signings for 2022

As the 2021 racing season comes to an end, Danny Van Hautes’ Wildlife Generation Pro Cycling will travel to the beautiful country of Thailand for its final race of the season.

In a year that has seen WLG race in Turkey, Romania and Rwanda, “nothing would be better than to see a podium or 2 in Thailand” says van Haute.

Despite the challenges that faced cycling during the Corona19 pandemic, WLG has successfully maneuvered in uncharted territory. Beginning with the team camp in Alanya and Cappadocia, Turkey, WLG was able to race in numerous races in Turkey, including The Presidential Tour of Turkey and in Romania racing the Sibiu Tour and The Tour of Romania with veteran rider Serghei Tvetcov placing second in the overall classification. In addition, WLG raced the Tour of Rwanda with Alex Hoehn placing 3rd on the GC.

Racing in Thailand will be Serghei Tvetcov, Noah Granigan, Jonny Clarke, Kent Ross, Cormac McGeogh and Ryan Jastrab. The DS is Matt Rice.

In addition, Wildlife Generation Pro Cycling has announced the signings of 3 new riders for the 2022 racing season including: Ahmet Orken (Konya, Turkey) This 7x National Time Trial Champion, 2x National Road Race Champion and 2 time Olympian will bring his wealth of knowledge and his Turkish culture to the team as they will continue to train and race in Turkey. This national legend is looking forward to contributing to the overall goals of the team.

Brendan Rhim (Boulder, CO) Another exciting rider on board for 2022 is Brendan Rhim. Starting in 2016 with the Hincapie-Citadel Racing Team, he was instrumental in their success and no doubt will be an asset toWildlife Generation Pro Cycling. In 2019 Brendan was the Overall winner of Tour de Beauce in Canada.

Scott McGill (Baltimore, MD) Beginning as a trainee in 2019 with The Aevolo Cycling team, Scott continues to impress. After 3 years with Aevolo and some European racing under his belt and impressing everyone with a 10th place finish at The U.S National Championships,  there is no doubt he is the perfect fir for WLG.

Returning Riders for the 2022 season are:

Ryan Jastrab, Kent Ross, Noah Granigan, Cormac McGeough, Jonny Clarke and Serghei Tvetcov.

Starting on November 27th, the team will partake in various community events with local VIP’s and Celebrities in and around Bangkok prior to heading to Trang for The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand. To close out this trip, the team will be making an offering to the BRYDE WHALES who are now protected by Royal Decree.
