Former professional cyclist and Team Director Danny van Haute has announce that after a successful four years of sponsoring a professional cycling team, Wildlife Generation will no longer be the title sponsor of Team Redlands for 2023.
Danny van Haute shared the following statement:
Team Redlands, the organization behind Jelly Belly Cycling Team and Wildlife Generation Pro Cycling, is without a title sponsor for 2023.“I would like to thank Wildlife Generation for the support over the past four seasons,” said Danny van Haute, Team Redlands owner.Team Redlands has fielded a squad at Continental level since 1999. “We have several projects in the works for 2023 but nothing to announce yet,” said Van Haute.
The team has included U.S. National Champions Jonas Carney and Fred Rodriguez, Mexican National Champions Ulises Castillo Soto and Luis Lemus Dávila, Romania National Champion Serghei Tvetcov, Canadian National Champion Will Routley, Turkey National Champion Ahmet Örken, Team Time Trail Champions, Kiel Reijnen, Jeremy Powers, Brad Huff, Matteo Jorgenson, Mike Friedman, Ben Wolfe, Scott McGill, Johnny Clarke, Andrew Bajadali, Gus Morton, Taylor Shelden, Noah Granigan, Lachlan Morton and many more.Race results have included Tour of Utah GC, Colorado Classic GC, Tour of Korea GC, Tour of Thailand GC, Tour of the Gila GC, Redlands Classic GC, Cascade Cycling Classic GC, KOM, Points, and Most Aggressive jerseys, and numerous stages and one-day events around the world.“The global pandemic shifted professional cycling’s calendar immensely, and many races are only now coming back. Very proud of all the athletes and staff over the last 23 years. Special thanks to Matty Rice who has been a rider and DS of the team ” Van Haute said. “Team Redlands looks forward to getting back out there and pinning on numbers wherever bicycles are raced”Thank you to all the partners over the last 23 years.
