The second week of the 2024 La Vuelta a España has been exciting edition to watch with a mix of grueling climbing stages and sprint finishes.
Ever since Ben O’Connor (Decathlon AG2R Mondiale Team) soloed to an impressive win to take the red leaders jersey on Stage 6 from Primoz Roglic, Roglic has been chipping away at O’Connor’s 4:51 lead little by little each stage which has made for an exciting race.
Today’s Stage 15 provided a very steep mountain top finish ending in the clouds where Roglic closed the gap even more and is now sitting just 1:09 behind O’Connor. The final week of the La Vuelta should be a great battle!
