Lake Roosevelt Group Ride Meet Up

 Important: This is not an organized or insured event. All riders participate at their own risk. This is a free, private, invitation-only ride, first come, first served. Riders are responsible for their own lodging, food, water, and support.

 The Ride

We’ll begin riding on the paved Hwy 288 and roll together to the cattle guard, where we’ll regroup before starting the climb.

 Expect a stunning desert climb often compared to a desert Alpe d’Huez, with sweeping views of Roosevelt Lake, dramatic canyon scenery, and endless photo opportunities.

• Scenic climb toward Angel Wings
• Approx. 16-mile climb to the dirt road leading toward Young
• Passing Cherry Creek along the way
• No water available on route – bring all fluids you need

After reaching the turnaround point, we’ll descend back to the Diversion Dam, then return to Richard & Kim’s house for dinner and post-ride hangout.
