Mammoth Gran Fondo

The Mammoth Gran Fondo is a road bike race/ride that includes a different route for the different riding abilities on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  Each route takes you on a scenic ride through the Eastern Sierras – Gran Fondo is 102 miles, Medio is 70 miles and Piccolo is 42 miles.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation.

Event Update – September 1, 2021

With the recent closure of Inyo National Forest and strained firefighting resources during these difficult times, we are sad to announce the cancellation of the 2021 Mammoth Gran Fondo. While there are no fires threatening Mammoth Lakes or the surrounding areas at this time, wildfires continue to spread across the west and firefighting resources are extremely limited. Our thoughts are with the firefighters and communities across the west affected by these fires.

Refund Options

There are three options for your 2021 Mammoth Gran Fondo registration – receive a full refund through imATHLETE with no penalty, defer your registration to the 2022 Mammoth Gran Fondo scheduled on September 10, 2022 or donate your registration fee to support youth programming in Mammoth Lakes. Instructions for each option are available on MammothGranFondo.com. Any riders that have not opted for one of the 3 options by November 1, 2021 will be automatically deferred to the 2022 Mammoth Gran Fondo event.
