Race Report: Turner and Prenzlow Deliver at Hart Park Cyclocross
12/15/11 - Sam Ames along with his local sponsors and volunteers always bring great races to the SoCal cross series, presented by Spy Optic, and again they delivered. His mission was to bring a challenging Euro style course for the first of the two Bakersfield weekends the series would see this year. The course definitely delivered, as it was one of the hardest he has ever constructed.
The course was fast flowing with some technical descents, a long road stretch, and two of the hardest run-ups Hart Park has presented. All which delivered racers little recovery time, if they wanted to stay at the front of the race. More >

Miller and Berden Take Day 2 of DTLA Historic CX
12/5/11 - Day two of the Southern California UCI weekend presented another fantastic sunny day of events. The elite races had a change of cultural flavor today as the race promoter brought in a Mariachi band to share the local flavor of nearby Olvera Street. The guitar, trumpets, and violins rocked as riders floored it down the starting straight and through many other parts of the crowd filled in-field. The course with its minor tweaks for day two again made for strategic racing as the long straights and tricky turns brought more exciting action. More >

By Jason "J.B." Bausch
12/3/11 - Words cannot express the gratitude and love I have for the cycling world. It is overwhelming to see the outpour of support I have received. I want to give a special thanks to my wife Holly, my brother Kirk, Travis Wilkerson (Crown Marketing/HDX Hydration Mix Cycling ), Mike Faello (Surf City Cyclery), Roger Worthington and Amgen Cycling Team/Breakaway from Cancer… and then to the entire cycling community. Your donations and support are a tremendous help for my family. I thank God for each one of you and how He is using you in my recovery with cancer and in life.
My prayer for you is Luke 6:38…”Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."… may you find all the wonderful love you have given me returned to you this Holiday Season!
Thank you again, and much love to each one of you,
Jason (J.B.) Bausch
