Mark your calendars for the second annual Carlsbad Grand Prix  on Sunday, July 20, 2014.
The Carlsbad Grand Prix is big league bike racing on a 0.9 mile closed criterium circuit that finishes with a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean. This full day of races will feature full categories for juniors and both Women’s Pro/1/2/3 and Women’s 3/4 categories, along with a full complement of Men’s professional, masters, and amateur fields. Plus, same as last year, the Carlsbad Grand Prix  features Paralympic hand cyclists (via the Challenged Athletes Foundation). Not to be missed are the Family Fun Race with amazing prizes like two Haro bikes, and a free Kid’s Race for children under the age of 10.
Racing begins at 7:00am.
Racers and spectators will be treated to a cornerstone of the Carlsbad Grand Prix, the Healthy Lifestyle Expo located right next to the race course. Live music from the Museum of Making Music will keep you entertained, and delicious food provided by Recess food truck will keep you fueled.
