USA Cycling recently announced the 2015 National Racing Calendar (NRC) and National Criterium Calendar (NCC). The premier domestic road cycling calendars sanctioned by USA Cycling begin in the spring and continue into the fall staging races throughout the United States.
Riders will compete for points that will be tabulated for individual riders as well as teams.
The National Racing Calendar (NRC), the premier season-long domestic road cycling series sanctioned by USA Cycling, will be comprised of 7 races, while the National Criterium Calendar (NCC), has increased to 19 races and will showcase the country’s top criterium-only events.
Southern California to Host Three NRC and NCC Events
Three of Southern California’s favorite events have earned NRC and NCC status again in 2015, with the Redlands Bicycle Classic in Redlands, CA  kicking off the NRC schedule from April 8-12. NCC events include the Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling, which will be held in Dana Point on May 3, and the Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix on June 7.
