The Spring Classic Grand Prix in Ontario was held on the popular Grand Prix course under sunny skies and perfect race temps. The Pro 1-3 race was delayed and shortened to 50 minutes due to a bad crash in the previous race.
Once the race got underway, the Incycle / Cannondale Pro Team had the most numbers and aimed to set Cory Williams up for the win. Several short lived breakaways blasted away from the field with the most dangerous move occurring with five to go. This break of five riders included two Incycle / Cannondale team members, however the Team stuck to the plan and brought back the break with one to go and with a little assistance from the SC Velo Team on the final lap. In a sprint to the line, Williams pulled out the win ahead of Rahsaan Bahati  (Bahati Foundation) in 2nd and Kayle LeoGrande (Surf City Cyclery / Sterling BMW).
