The Redlands Bicycle Classic continued on Saturday with a Downtown Criterium that was held under ominous skies for the Pro Women’s and Pro Men’s events. Â The rain held off until just until a few laps to go for the Men’s finish and came down in a just a light mist. Â As the Pro Men rounded the final corner, a Silber rider hit a reflector dot and lost control causing a pile up. Ulises Castillo (KHS-Maxxis-JL Velo), who was leading out of the turn, easily sprinted to victory. Janier Acevedo (Team Jamis) avoided the crash and remains in the GC lead.
