Day 1 Time Trial
Friday, April 7th Time Trial will be held on 6.2 mile course. This course is mostly flat with switch back on flat surface through the business area and flowing through the park and coming out back on to the main street and at an even faster pace as you descend downhill at about 2-3% for about a mile and a half and you really need to open your legs to get ready for after the turn around to hit a 200ft elevation gain for that mile and a half climb back up the hill and once you hit the top of the climb. I hope you saved enough gas in the tank for a sprint for that last mile to the finish and thank your lucky stars that it’s flat. But wait, depending on the time of the day it could be a little cooler or warmer this time of year, but the wind could be crucial.

Day 2 Road Race
Saturday April 8th,  the Road Race is the same course as the Time Trial and since you have already experienced the lay of the land during the Time Trial you should know where you need to be to finish well. There is no need to get into logistics for day 2 and just a little hint of the course and for you newbies who were not out last year. All fields beat up everyone on the hill. You better come out ready for some pain, only the strong will survive lap after lap. But that’s why we do this.  Whether you’re a Cat 5 racing for 30 miles and hitting the hill 5 time to the PRO 1/2 hitting that hill 12 times for about 75 miles.

Day 3 Crit
Sunday April 9th and the final day, is a 1.2 mile 5 corner CRIT. So after two days out at the Victorville Airport with two days of having fun and enjoying racing with your teammates and longtime friends and meeting new ones. We move day 3 to right out in front of City hall for a great day of food and activity for friends and family. This course is very spectator friendly. This course will start out with a swooping corner into turn one and heading into the business park area with corner 2 & 3 into corner 4 where you will look down to the final turn 5 bombing into a 5 lanes of straight away that funnels down to 2 lanes for that final sprint to the finish line and with plenty of room to set yourself up or your teammate for that poduim.

FREE Kids Race
After a long morning for officials and staff we will break for a fun free kid’s bike race hosted from noon to 12:30pm. All kids from 2-12 years of age are encouraged to participate. Registration opens at 8am and closes at 10am.
