A great lineup of cycling events will be taking place this weekend in Southern California with the Anti-Cancer Challenge, Los Angeles Tour de Cure, Ladera Ranch Grand Prix and CicLAvia Glendale Meets Atwater Village.
Anti-Cancer Challenge – June 10-11
The Anti-Cancer Challenge is where the end of cancer begins. Join the Anti-Cancer Challenge on June 10-11 at Angel Stadium to ride, run, walk or volunteer for a cancer-free world and fundraise for lifesaving cancer research. There are 10, 30, 60 & 100 miles ride options. Anti-Cancer Challenge participants raising $500 or more for cancer research receive two tickets for admission to the Big Summer Beerfest presented by Rockstar Beer.
Los Angeles Tour de Cure – June 10
The Los Angeles Tour de Cure takes place on Saturday June 10 at Santa Fe Dam Recreational Park. There are 12, 23, 42, 51, 66 and 100 mile options. The Tour de Cure is a series of fund-raising cycling events held in 40 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.
Ladera Ranch Grand Prix – June 11
On Sunday, the Ladera Ranch Grand Prix will be hosting the Elite State Criterium Championships. The course will be held on a fun and fast .7 mile around Founders Park in Ladera Ranch. Come out and enjoy the racing and expo area.
CicLAvia – June 11
CicLAvia Glendale Meets Atwater Village kicks off this Sunday June 11 for the country’s largest open streets event. Streets will be closed to cars and open for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and skaters to use as a recreational space.
