The Southern California road cycling season kicks off this weekend to get the 2020 Southern California Road Racing Calendar underway. The first race of the season takes place on January 19th with the CBR #1 Corratec Dominguez Hills Criterium giving racers a chance to test their winter form.
The 2020 season will kick into high gear with road races, criteriums, time trials and stage races taking place almost every weekend from January through September providing an exciting opportunity for cyclists to compete and fans to come out and cheer on their favorite teams and riders!
Most events include many different race categories for all levels of riders from Cat 5 riders that are just starting to race on up to the more experienced Pro / 1 category and all levels in between including Juniors, Women’s and Master’s categories.
The Tour de Murrieta, Manhattan Beach Grand Prix and San Dimas Classic host the always cute Kids Races, which are a great way for kids and their families to have a fun day and cycling experience while getting more kids on bikes.
