Defending Champion Chloe Dygert-Owen Crashes Out
The 2020 UCI Road World Championships Women Elite individual time trial took place today in Imola, Italy with the Netherlands’ Anna van der Breggen posting the fastest time for the win with a time of 40:20:14
American riders Amber Neben and Lauren Stephens had solid rides with Neben finishing 6th with a time of 41:40.46 and Stephens in 9th with a time of 42:03.17.
Unfortunately, race favorite and defending World Champion crashed over a guardrail and was unable to finish her defending ride, despite riding an amazing race and posting the fasted intermediate time prior to crashing.
