Fuji Bikes has announced that US Enduro National Champion Amy Morrison will continue with the brand throughout the 2021 season!
“Heading into my fourth year with Fuji really shows the commitment and belief we both have in reaching new heights in Enduro racing. From a Sea Otter Championship my first year with the brand in 2018, a 2019 National Championship, and an EWS Stage win, we’ve accomplished a lot and hung in there through tough times! I feel proud to represent Fuji because it truly has fast and fun bikes at accessible prices,” Morrison says about her continued relationship with Fuji.
With Coronavirus derailing most race plans in 2020, Morrison sought out race opportunities throughout the West Coast and walked away with an undefeated steak of wins. Looking forward to 2021, Morrison will be eyeing a repeat at the US National Enduro Championships in July and collecting points throughout the Enduro World Series qualifier events to make the US team for the Trophy of Nations, all while maintaining her day job as a school teacher. “Qualifying for the team might be a little tricky with less flexibility to travel during the school year, but I am hoping to at least take the top spot at the races I am able to make it to and give me the best chance to represent Fuji on Team USA,” Morrison explains about the upcoming season.
Outside of racing, Morrison has started a mountain bike club at the high school she teaches at, “The COVID situation proved to be a great opportunity to get more kids on bikes and outside being active. I look forward to growing the club this fall towards the end of the race season. The kids are super energetic and I love seeing their excitement around biking! Their enthusiasm motivates me to train and lead by example every day.” Amy will be racing on the Fuji Auric LT and Fuji Rakan LT this season.
