The Majestic Criterium in Ontario kicked off the first Southern California bike race of the 2021 season with a criterium.
The race was held on the long-standing Ontario L-shaped course and gave the racers the chance to find their racing legs and pack handling skills once again.
By the looks of it, the riders and fans alike were chomping at the bit to get back to the races after a long year of dealing with the pandemic. There was a great turn out and the riders were hungry to get the racing started again.
The Majestic Crit crew of Alfie Sanchez and Ronny Chalk put on a nice event with teams and exhibitors set up along the finishing straight. COVID protocols were also put in place.
With equal prize money on the line for the Pro Men’s and Women’s events, the racing was animated with Justin Williams (L39gion LA) and Veronica Ewers (Fount Cycling Guildwin) taking the win.
