It’s bicycle racing time in Murrieta! Team Stage 2 Cyclery/BOSCH pb PRIMAL is proud to announce its 16th Annual Tour de Murrieta presented by Wine Ranch Grill and Cellars to be held June 5-6, 2021, and will once again feature some of the most competitive race teams in California!
Stage 1 pb All Star Physical Therapy will feature our popular Grand Prix (the longer original course is back!), offering a lightning fast-course on a 1-mile course in Historic Downtown Murrieta, and Sunday’s Stage 2 Circuit race pb Pulido Cleaning & Restoration, arguably the most fun, yet challenging 3.5-mile course, you will do all year!!
In the race’s 16-year anniversary, the courses remain in a unique downtown atmosphere, with the race venues just a walk away from great places to lodge, eat and visit!
Although the Pacific Western Bank – Kid’s Race will be held in a bicycle rodeo format in 2021, it is open to children ages 8 years old and younger, free admission with the donation of a canned food item which will benefit the local food pantries located in the city of Murrieta.
“2020 was a tough year for everybody to include the cycling “racer” community who for the most part were not able to participate in sporting events for most of the year. With the COVID-19 situation improving throughout the state, county and city, we have been approved to responsibly host our two-day race in June. We are ecstatic to welcome racers, spectators, cycling enthusiasts, family and friends back in 2021. The race committee has been organizing for months and are ready to put on another festive environment event” said Race Director Kurt Kovacks.
The Tour de Murrieta promises to be one of the best events held yet. Saturday’s course will provide excellent racing and places to view the event. With all of our stages held downtown, bring the family, lawn chairs, and prepare to enjoy some of the best local food and wine country scenery!
