California Bicycle Racing (CBR) kicked off its 2021 CBR Criterium Series with its first race, the CBR / Corratec Dominguez Hills Criterium since the pandemic forced the cancellation of Southern California cycling events.
With Los Angeles County moving to the yellow tier, this allowed CBR / Corratec Dominguez Hills Criterium to receive the required permits and host the CBR/Corratec Dominguez Hills Criterium at the last minute with less than normal planning time. This was great news for SoCal’s bike racers, who were jonesing to line up on the start line once again and get the party started!
In the Pro 1-2 field, L39ION of Los Angeles Cory Williams won the field sprint ahead of Justin Williams (L39ION OF LOS ANGELES) and Dante Young in 3rd. In the Women’s 1-3 race, Chloe Patrick took the victory ahead of Collen Gulick (Pickle Juice Pro Cycling Team) in 2nd and Shelby Reynolds (Monster Racing) in 3rd.
