The 2025 Tour de France will start Saturday, July 5th, 2025 and will end after three exciting weeks with an exciting final stage ending with a road race from Mantes-La-Villes to Paris finishing on the cobbled streets with circuits on the Champs Elysees on July 27, 2025.
The 2025 Tour de France will not visit other countries for the first time since 2020 and will be held 100 % on French soil.

2025 Tour de France Stages
There will be 21 stages:
- 7 flat stages
- 6 hilly stages
- 6 mountain stages with 5 summit finishes (Hautacam, Luchon-Superbagnères, Mont Ventoux, Courchevel Col de la Loze and La Plagne Tarentaise)
- 2 individual time trials
- 2 rest days
The Official Route
NEW STAGE TOWNS
Out of a total of 39 stage towns, 8 new stage towns and other locations will appear on the 2025 Tour route for the first time including:
- Lauwin-Planque (start of stage 2)
- Bayeux (start of stage 6)
- Chinon (start of stage 9)
- Ennezat (start of stage 10)
- Le Mont-Dore Puy de Sancy (finish of stage 10)
- Bollène (start of stage 17)
- Vif (start of stage 18)
- Mantes-la-Ville (start of stage 21)
FEATURED MOUNTAINS
The race will feature climbs and summits in the Massif Central, the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Jura. The Col de la Loze (2,304m) will be the highest point of the 2025 Tour.
TIME TRIALS
There will be two individual time trials in the 112th edition consisting of a 33 km time Trial that will suit rouleurs who specialize in solo efforts and an 11 km time trial.
TIME BONUSES AND BONUS POINTS
Time bonuses will be awarded at the finish of each stage and will amount to 10, 6 and 4 seconds, respectively, for the first three classified riders.
