CicLAvia’s Mission and Community Impact
CicLAvia is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles, environmental awareness, equitable mobility, and stronger community bonds through open streets events. Inspired by Bogotá’s ciclovía, CicLAvia connects Angelenos to their neighborhoods through the power of people-powered transportation.
With over 342 miles of car-free routes since 2010, CicLAvia has transformed neighborhoods including Boyle Heights, Hollywood, South LA, Watts, and West Hollywood. The event wouldn’t be possible without community partners, volunteers, and enthusiastic participants.
