Everesting for Qhubeka by Everesting for Emergencies

UCLA Cycling Events Director Ethan Frankel has shared a fun opportunity to ride for a great cause while challenging yourself on the bike with the Everesting for Emergencies.
I hope all is well with you and your loved ones, and that you’ve been staying positive and active. If you are looking for a great athletic and personal challenge that benefits an awesome charity, Noah Hayes and I are holding an opportunity for you to do what you love.
On the July 24th-26th weekend, we are going to be riding an “Everesting for Emergencies” as a fundraiser for Qhubeka (a bike donation program for communities in need in Africa). There are going to be prizes (TBA) for different categories, most notably the biggest fundraisers and coolest rides. If you’d like to participate and get more info/updates, head on over to our Instagram page (@everestingforemergencies), as well as the fundraiser link: https://qhubeka.org/news/everesting-for-emergencies/. Here, you’ll be able to make a personal fundraiser under the umbrella event.
The ride options range from a half-Everesting (15,000 feet of climbing on one segment) to an Everesting ROAM (10,000 meters of climbing). We hope you’ll join us in making a difference by riding your bike, a lot!
