Miguel Angel Lopez
The 26-year old Colombian is moving to the Movistar Team for the 2021 season, after a revealing six years at Astana. Finally, NTT has a new sponsor, and their name will be changing to Qhubeka Assos and their first acquisition is Fabio Aru from UAE Team Emirates. Aru will make the switch after three years with UAE Team Emirates and will have a bigger role for the 2021 season under his new team. Much was expected of the rider who has failed to register consistent success due to injury and other factors but this is a new start and they will be looking to get back on track after a brilliant Tour de France last season. Aru will be joining the likes of Sean Bennett, Dimitri Claeys, Kilian Frankiny, Harry Tanfield, Connor Brown and a host of other riders for the Qhubeka team. Aru will bring his experience as a grand tour winner and rider, and will most definitely have a more central role for the team.
Tao Geoghegan
25-year old Geoghegan was stunning in last season’s Giro d’Italia, and his win has only made him more hungry, as he looks to be a key figure in a star-studded Ineos Grenadiers team that wants it all in 2021. The Brit became only the fifth British man to win a Grand Tour and is already raring to take on a leadership role for the team as they look to attack the 2021 season.
