SUGOI Performance Apparel has partnered with performance fabric giant Polartec® on a collection of technical, extreme weather, winter training products. The collection will include the world’s first Polartec® NeoShell® cycling jacket, the most breathable cycling garment on the market, and will be available in stores Fall 2013.
Based on the belief that there is no such thing as an off season, SUGOI aims to offer athletes who train hard all year a superior line of products that withstand the harshest weather conditions no matter the season.
The partnership with Polartec and the introduction of the NeoShell® cycling jacket to SUGOI’s RSE line is a natural evolution for a brand renowned for designing premium performance cycling gear. This jacket will allow riders who train year-round to benefit from the combined expertise of a top cycling apparel brand and the world’s leader in high-tech fabric.

“Together with Polartec, SUGOI aimed to design a jacket specifically for elite riders that would stand out among the competition,” says Rob Gill, SUGOI Senior Technical Designer.
“The NeoShell fabric provides the new RSE jacket with a tangible and noticeable difference in a rider’s overall comfort,” explains Gill. “I have already logged approximately 1,000 kilometers in the jacket this winter in some of the wettest weather imaginable in Vancouver, and it well exceeded my expectations.”
In addition to the Neoshell RSE jacket, SUGOI will also introduce a line of Polartec Power Shield and Polartec® Power Stretch products for run and cycling devotees.
